Faherty Brand is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Manager of AI Strategy & Transformation. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our initiatives to harness artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to enhance our operations and drive efficiency throughout the organization. As the internal advocate for AI, you will collaborate with leaders across all departments to uncover automation possibilities, streamline processes, and elevate team performance. We are seeking an individual who is not only intellectually curious and collaborative but also adept at translating complex AI concepts into actionable insights that foster significant improvements in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional leaders in Merchandising, Retail, E-Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to pinpoint impactful opportunities for AI-driven automation and workflow enhancement.
- Overseeing the complete lifecycle of AI transformation projects, from initial discovery and business case development to vendor selection, pilot execution, implementation, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Creating and sustaining a comprehensive AI roadmap that aligns with company goals and adapts to the evolving landscape of machine learning and generative AI technologies.
- Acting as Faherty’s internal AI authority and educator, promoting awareness and capabilities across teams through accessible training sessions, detailed documentation, and practical enablement initiatives.
- Conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess AI/ML solutions, including evaluations of build vs. buy options, ROI calculations, and vendor assessments.
- Leading change management initiatives alongside key stakeholders to ensure seamless tool adoption, effective communication of impacts, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
- Translating technical AI capabilities into straightforward recommendations for leadership, delivering strategic updates and results with clarity and confidence.
- Establishing governance frameworks and best practices for responsible AI use that safeguard Faherty’s data integrity, brand values, and team trust.
- Staying ahead of emerging AI trends and competitive applications within the retail and apparel sectors to proactively identify opportunities for innovation.
- Defining and monitoring KPIs across AI initiatives to assess adoption rates, efficiency gains, and delivered business value.
