The successful candidate will ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by significant experience in asset management or a similar role. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior experience in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable.

About the job

As the Manager of Asset Management, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team overseeing the commercial operations of over 4,000 MW of utility-scale wind and solar projects across 16 states. Your role is pivotal in maximizing asset value, driving growth initiatives, and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Management:

  • Oversee P&L and cash flow for all assets within your portfolio.
  • Analyze monthly operational and financial performance reports, addressing any budget variances.
  • Collaborate with the energy data analytics team to interpret market-driven variances and develop strategies for value enhancement.
  • Prepare annual project budgets and regularly update financial models and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analyses and project evaluations to support optimization, performance improvement, warranty, and insurance claims.
  • Lead or support major projects, including divestitures, capital investments, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Negotiate project company agreements to boost asset performance and mitigate risks.

Project Administration, Compliance, & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all project obligations and successfully manage contractual issues.
  • Oversee licenses, permits, and regulatory requirements with external authorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and authorities regarding asset management.
  • Manage monthly loss output and energy production reporting.
