About the Role: The Manager of Channel Planning will report directly to the Stream Head of Channel Planning. This role involves managing a team of one, with collaborative leadership across a cross-functional team of seven.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Target Setting:
- Define and implement monthly performance targets and KPIs for sales teams and partners using data-driven insights.
- Establish ambitious yet attainable goals to enhance sales productivity and partner performance.
2. Sales Promotion:
- Design and manage sales promotions aimed at driving product bundling and cross-selling across various sales channels.
- Create time-sensitive campaigns to boost sales and improve channel engagement in focus areas.
3. Sales Channel Collaboration:
- Foster structured collaboration with sales teams and channels to align on performance KPIs and growth strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with business support managers and feedback sessions to pinpoint challenges and areas for improvement.
- Integrate sales team feedback into incentive models to enhance alignment and motivation.
4. Compensation Structure Optimization:
- Develop and refine compensation and incentive frameworks across complex sales ecosystems, balancing short-term achievements with long-term strategic growth (e.g., cloud sales, enterprise sales, or solution selling).
- Ensure the compensation structure fosters long-term strategic deals without hindering short-term sales.
5. Performance Tracking and Payout Management:
- Implement real-time performance tracking dashboards with automated payout calculations for enhanced transparency and motivation.
- Guarantee accuracy and timeliness in incentive payouts.
6. Competitive Edge:
- Deliver differentiated incentive frameworks and sales programs informed by market and competitive analysis, enabling Jazz to stay ahead of evolving partner and channel trends.
