Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Content Excellence
- Provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of 7-10 client accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery within a collaborative team environment.
- Design and implement tailored strategies that meet client needs and expectations.
- Ensure all client communications and materials are accurate and of exceptional quality.
- Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day client interactions, collaborating with senior leadership on critical projects.
- Lead client discussions and offer strategic guidance on investor relations, messaging, and market positioning, adapting approaches based on client complexity (public, private, preclinical, clinical, commercial, etc.).
- Keep informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Create and review high-quality corporate communication materials, such as investor presentations, press releases, and earnings scripts.
- Oversee the execution of tactical initiatives including in-depth research and targeting analyses, planning and executing roadshows, meetings, and investor events.
- Coordinate event planning and provide on-site support, which may require occasional travel.
- Manage client contracts, retainers, budgeting, and ensure invoicing accuracy.
- Achieve a target utilization of 75% for client billing.
Team Building & Mentorship
- Lead and develop a junior team, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
- Train and mentor a high-performing team that aligns with our collaborative and mission-driven culture; provide constructive feedback.
- Promote principles of client service, accountability, mutual respect, and collaboration.
- Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.
- Lead by example, balancing competitive ambition with a spirit of teamwork and integrity.
- Approve time charges and monitor the utilization of direct reports.
Business Development & Market Positioning
- Contribute to marketing efforts and new business initiatives, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities for the firm.
- Utilize a strong network of industry contacts to enhance client engagements and business prospects.
