What You Bring to the Table:A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams and at least 7 years of experience designing complex mechanical products, ideally in human interface devices or robotics. Extensive expertise in mechanical design, materials selection, manufacturing processes, CAD modeling, and prototype development. Demonstrated experience executing development projects in heavily regulated environments, including familiarity with FDA QSR 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and other medical device regulatory standards. Strong project and program management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and leadership levels. A passion for tackling challenging engineering problems and driving innovations.

We are in search of a Managing Staff Mechanical Engineer who will spearhead the mechanical engineering initiatives for innovative robotic capital equipment in an exciting new clinical application.

  • Manage all stages of mechanical design, from prototype development to testing and validation, ensuring durable and reliable products.

  • Direct cross-functional projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks to meet aggressive development objectives.

  • Contribute to strategy formulation and execution for product development, regulatory submissions, and intellectual property generation.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement within the team and across departments.

  • Serve as a key technical resource, resolving intricate design and manufacturing issues while integrating inputs from various disciplines.

  • Provide updates on team progress and risks to senior management, ensuring transparent and proactive communication.
