Purpose

Lead the integration of pioneering manufacturing technologies into production processes, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Divergent’s manufacturing landscape by enabling innovative processes, supporting diverse hardware production, and mentoring engineers to achieve industry-leading outcomes.

The Role

  • Lead a cross-functional team of manufacturing engineers focused on design-for-manufacturing, process development, and the implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing techniques within the DAPS framework.
  • Oversee manufacturing requirements, process specifications, and root cause analyses to guarantee dependable, high-quality production.
  • Establish team priorities, monitor project progress, and guide engineers in reaching essential company objectives.
  • Develop industry-leading methodologies for manufacturing process qualification, scalability, and automation.
  • Execute advanced manufacturing strategies in machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, bonding, coatings, and joining.
  • Identify and implement innovative manufacturing technologies aimed at enhancing quality, minimizing costs, and boosting throughput.
  • Collaborate with design, materials, quality, and production teams to influence hardware design and readiness for production.
