What will you do as a Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy (MC&G) System Transition and Integration Specialist?

In this pivotal role, you will provide both technical and programmatic support to the NGA. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the transition of MC&G capabilities from development into operational settings, ensuring seamless integration with NGA’s enterprise systems and mission workflows.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

Serve as a subject matter expert on system transition & integration, assisting the MC&G PEO Engineering Management staff and Program Managers.
Oversee the MC&G Mission Domain system transition process across a range of GEOINT-related programs, projects, and initiatives.
Plan and manage system transitions between MC&G PEO and various organizations, including Research and NGA/SF.
Coordinate development of system capabilities between the MC&G PEO and other organizations to ensure alignment and prevent redundancy.
Engage with external entities to support MC&G Mission Domain system transitions at the broader mission and enterprise level.
Stay informed about external system transitions and assess their impact on MC&G Mission Domain systems.
Assist MC&G PEO Program Managers with individual program transitions as directed.
Oversee the integration process of MC&G Mission Domain systems across related programs and initiatives.
