Salla is on the lookout for a skilled and strategic Software Engineering Manager to spearhead our Marketplace engineering team.
In this pivotal position, you will define the technical vision and ensure the successful implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing our marketplace platform, which seamlessly connects sellers and buyers.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading and supervising multiple teams, ensuring they align with organizational objectives while promoting collaboration across engineering, product, QA, security, and UX/UI design departments.
- Defining and executing the technical vision and strategy for the Marketplace platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and innovation.
- Championing technical excellence and architecture standards, promoting best practices in software development.
- Mentoring, managing, and developing engineering managers and their teams, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define and prioritize features that add value to users and the business.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance, proactively resolving issues and driving continuous improvements in reliability and scalability.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards across all projects and initiatives.
- Developing and executing strategic roadmaps, defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs to measure success and align team efforts with business objectives.
- Recruiting, retaining, and developing top engineering talent, ensuring the team possesses the skills and diversity needed to thrive.
