JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler 1 (Strapper) is responsible for effectively palletizing finished goods to ensure stability and organization. This role includes loading and unloading materials to assigned machine units and operating various equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag. The Material Handler must meet quality, output, and production objectives while adhering to safety standards.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare finished products according to established USPS standards, demonstrating proficiency in recognizing printed address labels. Coordinate with the Logistics Tech to ensure products are moved to their designated finish locations.
Verify and manage materials for the production line, loading and unloading as necessary. Conduct basic machine setup, adjust components, troubleshoot issues, and resolve jams or errors on end-of-line machinery.
Adhere to safety and security policies to foster a healthy working environment, including maintaining housekeeping standards.
Support compliance with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation, ensuring that key duties are performed effectively. Other tasks as assigned.
