JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler I (Strapper) plays a vital role in our production team, responsible for efficiently palletizing finished goods while ensuring stability and neatness during the wrapping process. This position involves loading and unloading materials to maintain assigned machine units and operating various equipment types, including 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag. The Material Handler is also accountable for meeting quality, output, and production goals.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare all finished products in accordance with established USPS standards, demonstrating proficiency in recognizing printed address labels. Instruct the Logistics Tech to move products to their final destination.
Verify the accuracy of materials for the production line, facilitating their loading and unloading into the machines. Perform basic machine setups and adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and respond to indicator lights and display screens effectively.
Support and adhere to safety and security policies, fostering a healthy work environment, including maintaining housekeeping standards.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing information and performing assigned tasks to ensure compliance with regulations. Complete other duties as assigned.
