- Architect original material engineering problems that mimic real-world engineering workflows;
- Develop problems necessitating Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations;
- Ensure that problems are computationally robust, requiring numerical methods or iterative solutions;
- Generate problems centered on system design, optimization, and analytical evaluation;
- Base problems on real research challenges or practical engineering applications;
- Validate solutions using Python along with standard engineering libraries;
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for material scientists and engineers proficient in Python, open to non-permanent, part-time projects. The ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Material Science or a related field;
- Strong Python skills for numerical validation; experience in MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any domain-specific libraries will also be considered;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience;
- A solid understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
- Exceptional written English skills (C1+).
How the Process Works
Apply → Successfully complete qualification(s) → Join a project → Carry out tasks → Receive payment.
Project Commitment
During active project phases, tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, subject to project needs. This is an estimation and not a guarantee of workload.
