  • Develop challenges that necessitate Python programming for solving engineering calculations and simulations;
  • Ensure that problems are computationally demanding and require numerical methods or iterative solutions;
  • Design problems focused on system design, optimization, and analysis;
  • Base problems on real-world research challenges or practical applications from the engineering field;
  • Utilize Python with established engineering libraries to verify solutions;
  • Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.

Qualifications Sought:

This role is ideal for material scientists and engineers with Python experience, who are open to part-time, non-permanent roles. Candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Material Science or a related discipline;
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, or knowledge of any programming language is acceptable;

Project Time Commitment:

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload during project activity.
