Job Overview
The Mathematics Subject Specialist will be pivotal in realizing Huddle’s strategic vision for Mathematics. This role involves developing a variety of educational resources, including formal and informal assessments, revision worksheets, and targeted materials aimed at bridging learning gaps.
As our program grows, there may be opportunities to transition into a full FET teaching position.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing and analyzing baseline assessments to identify learner gaps
- Developing and executing bridging content and intervention strategies to address learning gaps
- Helping students build strong foundational math skills
- Contributing to special projects related to mathematics curriculum and learner support
- Collaborating closely with the mathematics team to ensure alignment with long-term GET and FET goals
- Analyzing learner performance data and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Leading or contributing to remediation boot camps and targeted support programs
- Assisting in the development of curriculum resources as needed
- Conducting user observation with learners and gathering feedback to enhance interventions
- Maintaining project documentation and educational resources
- Completing tasks on time in accordance with project plans and maintaining clear communication
- Building tools, systems, and processes to enhance learner support and curriculum delivery
- Applying proven instructional design theories and methods
- Creating comprehensive curriculum plans that outline lesson objectives for the entire year
- Planning engaging lessons by drafting scripts for videos and informal assessments
- Designing thorough formal assessments to measure student understanding
