Qualifications
We seek candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates should possess experience in either Mechanical or Electrical works, with additional knowledge in cost control, tendering, or contract administration being advantageous. You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Join our dynamic team at fuku as a Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor based in Tai Seng, Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing and interpreting tender documents and drawings, while preparing comprehensive quantity take-offs and cost estimates for M&E works. Your expertise will support preliminary Mechanical and Electrical designs for Design & Build tenders, and you'll be responsible for managing contract administration for main contractors and subcontractors. In this role, you will also review Letters of Award, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, prepare monthly progress claims, and ensure smooth payment processes. Your ability to monitor project budgets and propose value engineering solutions will be essential in coordinating with site teams.
