Qualifications
Key responsibilities include:Reviewing documentation provided by Codelco. Establishing mechanical design criteria. Preparing calculation reports for mechanical equipment. Developing technical specifications, data sheets, technical evaluations, and requisitions for major mechanical equipment. Participating in site visits to assess existing equipment and facilities to determine the most suitable engineering solution in terms of operability, constructability, and maintainability, and to evaluate the functional feasibility for required modifications. Identifying suitable materials for equipment protection, personnel safety, and environmental protection, according to material characteristics and process compatibility. Designing in BIM (3D) for the general layout and elevation of the project, commensurate with the engineering phase to integrate all disciplines effectively.

We are seeking a Contract Administrator for a mining engineering project in Chuquicamata, located in the II Region of Antofagasta. The ideal candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree in any specialty, with a minimum of 12 years of overall experience and at least 8 years specifically in the field required for this role. The candidate must also demonstrate practical experience in engineering studies during the profile, conceptual, basic, and/or detailed phases, and be proficient in relevant management and design software.
