Technical SkillsResponsibilitiesDesign and prototype UAV platforms and intricate subsystems from the ground up, maintaining an equilibrium between durability, efficiency, and performance. Assume complete ownership of system-level constraints, including thermal management, mass budget, cost of goods sold (COGS), and environmental sealing ratings. Collaborate closely with R&D teams (Electrical, Software, and Industrialization) to ensure smooth mechanical integration of sensors, payloads, and electronics. Conduct thorough testing, including stress and failure analyses. Proactively identify risks and create necessary tools (test benches, calculation sheets, scripts) to validate designs for operation in extreme environments. Manage your delivery packages and technical specifications meticulously, consistently meeting or surpassing requirements under tight deadlines. Oversee the manufacturing process through collaboration with suppliers and external manufacturers, emphasizing plastic injection molding and precision machining to ensure quality and adherence to schedules. Maintain the authoritative source of truth using Confluence and professional 2D/3D documentation. Document all designs, test results, and production workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Candidate RequirementsMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience in designing and developing UAV systems.
