We are excited to invite applications for the position of Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Espoo, Finland. This role is essential for ensuring the successful technical delivery of our projects.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing project delivery, which includes reviewing tender documents, selecting appropriate plants and materials, coordinating services, and supervising the production of coordinated drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients effectively to ensure their requirements are met.
- Oversee design management processes.
- Collaborate with contractors to guarantee seamless integration of services.
- Draft method statements and conduct risk assessments for construction activities.
- Ensure all HVAC deliverables align with project and safety standards.
- Work closely with the project team to sequence pipework installations according to timelines.
- Evaluate and manage project finances to ensure accurate handover from estimation to procurement of all necessary equipment and subcontractors.
- Support the management of installation works to uphold high standards of workmanship, leading to successful commissioning and handover.
- Assist in documenting and pricing changes to work scopes, as well as preparing monthly valuations and final accounts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is crucial.
- Strong background in design management is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
