Engineering at GILLIG
The Engineering team develops and customizes heavy-duty, clean-technology transit buses. Engineers contribute to every stage, from initial design and analysis to testing, launch, and troubleshooting. The Mechanical Engineering group focuses on mechanical systems and components, such as chassis, HVAC, interior layouts, and powertrain integration. Team members work closely with other departments to meet regulatory standards, resolve production challenges, and deliver efficient, cost-effective designs.
Role Overview: Mechanical Engineer - Interiors
This position supports senior engineers in the design and industrialization of transit bus components, with an emphasis on interiors. The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to decisions at the vehicle, system, and component levels, working alongside experienced colleagues. Key responsibilities include providing engineering support, performing design analysis, and participating in the product development process for GILLIG's evolving bus lineup.
