Key Responsibilities:Planning & Documentation (Pre-Commissioning Phase)Formulate and execute mechanical commissioning plans in line with ASHRAE guidelines. Assess design documents, specifications, and issued-for-construction (IFC) drawings as Task Leader (TL). Develop system verification checklists and comprehensive functional test protocols. Review and enhance the mechanical Sequence of Operations (SOO). Collaborate with Test and Balance (TAB) contractors to set up thorough testing protocols. Technical Execution (Commissioning Phases 2–6)Conduct Factory Witness Testing (Phase 2 – ASHRAE Level 1). Lead factory acceptance tests for mechanical equipment to validate performance prior to delivery. Document outcomes and ensure adherence to project specifications. Construction & Installation Verification (Phase 3 – ASHRAE Level 2)Perform detailed visual inspections of HVAC installations, structural supports, and clearances. Verify compliance with mechanical codes and oversee pressure/hydro and duct leakage tests. Examine equipment access for maintenance and confirm sensor/control system installations.
