Join our expanding team at Archirodon Group as a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are seeking a talented individual to become a part of our highly skilled quality controls team working on exciting projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and review construction documents to ensure compliance with mechanical work quality requirements.
  • Monitor all stages of mechanical works, focusing on design, procurement, construction, and final handover.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans, maintaining necessary records promptly.
  • Oversee inspections and testing of mechanical works in your area, supervising QC Inspectors as needed.
  • Manage the closeout of punch lists for incomplete mechanical work.
  • Ensure all measurement and testing instruments for mechanical works are functional and calibrated.
  • Witness, review, and approve welder qualifications as well as WPS and PQR qualifications.
  • Coordinate with third-party testing/inspection companies regarding mechanical works.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to mechanical works.
  • Prepare, maintain, and file test/inspection records and other quality documentation associated with mechanical works.
  • Assist construction teams in identifying and resolving problems and non-conformances in mechanical works.
  • Notify the QC Manager of non-conformance issues, generate Non-conformance Reports for any non-compliant work, and monitor corrective action effectiveness.
  • Assist the QC Manager with periodic audits, including technical compliance audits for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Witness and verify all NDT and mechanical testing, including hydro and pneumatic tests.
  • Attend and coordinate client verification of work on-site, resolving any outstanding civil work issues.
  • Assist in preparing final documentation for certification and support systems commissioning as required.
