Join our expanding team at Archirodon Group as a Mechanical Quality Control Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), while reviewing construction documents for compliance with quality standards for Mechanical works.

  • Oversee all phases and processes necessary for the successful execution of related Mechanical works, focusing on design, procurement, construction, and final handover.

  • Ensure the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans, generating necessary records promptly within your area of responsibility.

  • Manage inspections and testing of Mechanical works, supervising QC Inspectors under your authority.

  • Track the resolution of punch lists related to Mechanical works.

  • Ensure all measurement and testing instruments for Mechanical works are functional and calibrated.

  • Witness, review, and approve welder qualifications and WPS, PQR qualifications.

  • Coordinate with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Companies as needed for Mechanical works.

  • Conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of test data pertinent to Mechanical works.

  • Prepare and maintain test/inspection records and other quality documentation for Mechanical works.

  • Assist construction teams in identifying and resolving issues, including potential non-conformances related to Mechanical works.

  • Notify the QC Manager of non-conformance incidents, raising Non-conformance Reports as necessary, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Assist the QC Manager with periodic audits, especially technical compliance audits involving subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and other Mechanical testing such as hydro testing, pneumatic testing, etc.

  • Attend and witness Client verification of work on site, facilitating the resolution of outstanding issues related to Civil works.
