Job Summary

We are in search of a dynamic and empathetic Medical Director to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring the highest quality of service and advocating for best practices among the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while upholding the utmost standards of patient care. Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff to uphold high standards of care.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages best practices and continuous professional development.
  • Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
  • Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee quarterly.
  • Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Stay informed about advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously enhance the facility’s clinical offerings.
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support.
