Work Environment
Join our Estimating department at our headquarters in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert. While our primary operations are based in Belgium, our projects span across the globe.
Your Role
- As a MEP Tender Engineer, you will engage in the study and coordination of all elements related to MEP installations.
- Throughout project analysis, you will maintain comprehensive oversight of MEP installation issues and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess the contractual obligations for MEP installations as outlined by the client and devise an actionable plan accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of specifications, drawings, diagrams, and all relevant documents within the tender dossier.
- Solicit and evaluate price quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to create an estimate aligned with the selected execution method and equipment.
- Prepare comparative tables and contribute to internal finalization discussions.
- Determine internal pricing using available databases and supplier quotes.
- Analyze received offers from subcontractors.
- Compile lists of potential value engineering opportunities and alternatives for associated trades.
- Facilitate coordination between MEP trades and other disciplines managed by the General Contractor.
- Assess and evaluate project risks and opportunities to identify the best execution strategies.
- Coordinate between MEP subcontractors, clients, design offices, and other external parties.
- Attend meetings with subcontractors and/or clients/design offices as needed.
- Prepare final tender documents for submission.
