The Role
As a member of the Ingest team, you will be essential in ensuring the seamless, accurate, and efficient transfer of our TV, movie, and series data from various sources into our systems. This internship is perfect for detail-oriented, solution-driven individuals who thrive in managing data pipelines, scheduling systems, and providing support to both internal and external stakeholders. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities
- Operational Support
- Oversee workflows and data pipelines to maintain smooth operations.
- Investigate and rectify internal data complaints and operational problems.
- Review schedules for failures and report issues as they arise.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to address operational or scheduling challenges.
- Enhance operational processes to boost efficiency.
- Data & Metadata Support
- Implement and refine hardcoding rules for parsers.
- Resolve issues with existing parsers and optimize them for new content sources.
- Configure, validate, and manage data feeds effectively.
- Conduct structured testing prior to releasing updates.
- Stakeholder Support
- Address internal and external support cases within SLA timelines.
- Ensure internal stakeholders receive prompt support and issue resolution.
