Metal Technician – Paid Training Opportunity

Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Metal Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your skills in buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, oxidizing, and finishing to restore surfaces to their optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to work order instructions and follow Lead Foreman guidance to ensure tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.
Utilize solvents, chemicals, pneumatic tools, and power tools effectively.
Comply with all safety and OSHA regulations, including proper use of company vehicles.
Successfully complete all mandatory safety and training modules.
Work night shifts (typically 4/5 PM – 2/3 AM) with the flexibility to cover occasional day or weekend shifts.
Engage in occasional out-of-town travel using company transportation, with a daily per diem allowance and accommodations provided.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred: High School Diploma or G. E. D.
Possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to kneel, squat, bend, lift, reach, climb, and carry equipment up to 60 lbs unassisted.
Prior experience in painting or spraying is advantageous.
High attention to detail and cleanliness.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay of $20 per hour for the first 30 days of training.
Eligible for a bonus pay plan upon passing apprentice trainee testing.
