About the job
Are you a microbiology aficionado looking to influence the future of artificial intelligence? As large-scale language models transition from simple chatbots to robust tools for scientific advancement, your expertise can help create high-quality training data essential for democratizing world-class education, accelerating research, and enhancing laboratory operations globally. Your contribution starts here, join us in empowering the next generation of AI.
We seek microbiology specialists with a deep understanding of bacteriology, virology, parasitology, mycology, microbial genetics, antibiotic resistance, microbial pathogenesis, environmental microbiology, industrial microbiology, and microbial ecology. You will engage with advanced language models on key subjects including host-pathogen interactions, culture techniques, microbial metabolism, clinical microbiology diagnostics, PCR and qPCR methodologies, sterile technique protocols, biosafety measures, and the impact of microbiomes on health and disease, diligently documenting all discrepancies to refine model accuracy.
In your daily activities, you will interact with the model on laboratory scenarios and theoretical microbiology inquiries, validate factual correctness and logical coherence, document reproducible error patterns, and propose enhancements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
A PhD in microbiology or a closely related life sciences field is preferred; experience with peer-reviewed publications, wet-lab or field research, or practical laboratory diagnostics projects will be considered a strong asset. Exceptional clarity in communication, demonstrating your thought process, is essential.
Are you ready to transform your microbiology knowledge into the foundation for tomorrow's AI? Apply now to start educating the model that will educate the world.
