Qualifications

Proven experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender. Strong background in server management, including virtualization and Windows server administration. Proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell and KQL. Experience working with Azure in hybrid environments, as well as Active Directory both on-premises and in the cloud, including Group Policies. Hands-on experience with end-user technology deployments and upgrades. In-depth knowledge of supporting Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Defender for Office (MDO), Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel, as well as Microsoft Configuration management service center. Active TS/SCI clearance with a willingness to undergo a polygraph exam. High School diploma or GED with 7+ years of IT project support experience; or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience. DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP Certification. Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification within 60 days of start date.

Join our team as a Microsoft Defender Specialist where you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Microsoft Defender solution and facilitating the transition to cutting-edge Microsoft technologies. Your expertise with the Microsoft Defender Suite, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Defender for Office (MDO), Defender Cloud Apps (MDCA), and Mobile Threat Defender (MTD), is essential. You will assist in deploying intricate architectures using Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and the 365 Defender center.

In this role, you will not only implement the Microsoft Defender solutions but also be tasked with developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for maintaining agent handlers, repositories, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Defender, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. You will support the transition from DoD Enterprise Capabilities to emerging Microsoft technologies.

Your responsibilities will include deploying complex architectures based on Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and 365 Defender center, coordinating efforts to test and validate solutions for future implementation. This role requires you to work core hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM during the week and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
