AECOM Buildings + Places is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Madrid.In the role of Junior Project Manager, you will become part of a proactive and enthusiastic team, engaging in multidisciplinary projects across various regions for clients in the public sector, institutions, U.S. Government, and defense sectors. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their project management journey to gain exposure to international projects, collaborate with senior professionals, and experience structured project delivery throughout the entire project life cycle.Your key responsibilities will include assisting senior Project Managers and Project Directors with:Coordinating daily project activities across architecture, engineering, planning, environmental, and specialist teams.Implementing project setup, planning, delivery, reporting, and closeout.Monitoring actions, deadlines, deliverables, risks, changes, invoices, and project documentation.Creating meeting notes, client updates, presentations, progress reports, and internal review materials.Collaborating with subconsultants and vendors.Overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual obligations.Supporting proposal and business development efforts, including RFP reviews, compliance tracking, fee inputs, and deadline management.Utilizing tools such as Deltek GovWin, SAM.gov, client portals, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and AECOM's internal systems.Gaining insights into the planning, management, delivery, and closure of international public sector and U.S. Government projects.
