JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Middle School Science Teacher for the 2026-27 school year at KIPP Nashville, you will engage and empower students through innovative curriculum development and effective instructional practices. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Curriculum Development and Instruction
Design and implement engaging instructional strategies tailored to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of each student.
Utilize progress-monitoring tools to assess student performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Leverage data to inform instructional decisions and enhance student learning outcomes.
Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic and character development.
Exhibit strong pedagogical practices that foster a love of learning.
Commitment to School and Classroom Culture
Collaborate effectively with your school team and other educators within KIPP Nashville.
Contribute to the development of a positive school culture that meets the needs of students, teachers, and families.
Attend all staff meetings and maintain open communication with colleagues.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students to support their growth.
Create a calm and positive learning environment.
Uphold school values and policies while managing student behavior.
Family Engagement
Establish clear and ongoing communication with parents about student progress.
