Join the dedicated team at Ray Skillman Southside Kia as a Kia Certified Service Technician, a role specifically tailored for skilled and experienced military veterans. This opportunity is part of Kia America, Inc.'s Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), designed to transition veterans into fulfilling automotive careers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Expertly diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, focusing on engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Efficiently complete repair orders and warranty requests in alignment with Kia and retailer policies.
  • Conduct thorough test drives, utilizing Kia's diagnostic strategies, special tools, and equipment to analyze and repair vehicle systems.
  • Deliver timely services and communicate effectively with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:
