Role overview
This Mobile QA Automation Engineer position centers on ensuring the reliability of Point Wild’s Android security products, including VPN apps like HotspotShield and Betternet, as well as the UltraAV antivirus app. The role combines hands-on testing with the design and improvement of automation frameworks. Work happens within an agile team that values quick results and scalable solutions. The role is fully remote, based in Bulgaria.
Key responsibilities
- Design and enhance the Android automation framework (Espresso/Kakao-Cup) to support a growing suite of security products.
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for VPN-specific scenarios, including network-dependent flows and varied connection conditions.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to troubleshoot issues and deliver clear bug reports.
- Promote QA best practices and contribute to the broader QA strategy.
- Research and evaluate new testing tools and methods to strengthen the QA process.
