About the Role
The Mobility Services team empowers organizations by managing their environments daily while offering guidance on best practices for implementation. We design, build, and support comprehensive solutions that facilitate our customers' transition to modern managed services, working closely with other Datacom divisions. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical challenges to demonstrate how our products enhance business productivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
- Travel to Datacom offices, customer sites, and conferences as required.
- Utilize tools and processes to deliver services to clients according to established SLAs.
- Provide operational support for customer systems, including proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and executing both standard and non-standard changes.
- Identify and propose improvements to inefficient procedures or processes.
- Produce clear, timely reports as needed.
- Offer on-the-job training and support to junior Datacom staff to enhance overall company competence.
- Develop efficiencies that improve our ability to support customer environments.
- Oversee technical aspects of solutions, including bid responses, product briefings, project management, proof-of-concept, and training of support staff.
- Create design documentation (HLD, DDD, LLD).
- Build customer environments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and VMware WS1.
- Configure Apple Business Manager (VPP and MDM Servers).
- Act as a technical leader or design engineer in deployment and refresh projects when necessary.
- Adhere to best practice methodologies and ITIL processes (e.g., Change/Release).
- Identify and escalate inefficient practices or processes.
- Ensure all systems are built according to agreed processes and designs (e.g., Build guides).
- Provide technical leadership during major incidents.
- Assist in validating and maintaining the client's risk and issues registers.
- Complete time recording for work performed as required.
- Govern all implementations and changes affecting iOS, Android, and Google Chrome OS devices.
