Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher at Rocketship, referred to as an Education Specialist for students with Moderate to Severe Support Needs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students receive a top-tier education. You will work with students who have substantial support needs including intellectual disabilities, autism, and other complex challenges.

We are committed to inclusive education, facilitating opportunities for students with disabilities to learn alongside their peers whenever possible while also providing personalized instruction in smaller groups or specialized environments. Behavioral support is a key aspect of this role. You will engage with families and staff to implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), model strategies for paraprofessionals, and apply techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and crisis intervention, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Education Specialists will report directly to the Principal or Assistant Principal.
