Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in network and security engineering. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network architecture. Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies. Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and network monitoring tools. Proficiency in implementing and managing cloud security solutions. Hands-on experience with enterprise-level network infrastructure. Scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are desirable.

We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network infrastructure and security systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking technologies and cybersecurity, with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, and switches to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Implement and maintain intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and other security measures.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect security incidents and respond accordingly.
- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with network and security requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in network security.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and security-related issues.
