Requirements:Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent training in sales and marketing will be considered. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in new home sales within the housing market, demonstrating a successful track record in both sales volume and customer satisfaction. Goal-oriented with the ability to balance individual contributions with teamwork. Demonstrates adaptability, confidence, creativity, resilience, and a strong customer-service orientation. Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, selling, and organizational abilities. Proficient in computer skills and open to adopting new technologies.

As a New Home Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through the entire homebuying process. Your role will involve showcasing our innovative product features, diverse floorplans, and exquisite designs tailored to meet the unique needs of each customer. You will be a trusted advisor, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth homebuilding experience and maintaining customer satisfaction at every stage.

  • Transform visiting customers into proud homeowners within our communities.
  • Leverage various resources, including marketing materials, model homes, and realtor relationships, to drive sales.
  • Achieve sales and customer service goals consistently with minimal supervision.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor offerings to uphold M/I Homes' industry-leading status.
  • Educate potential buyers on M/I Homes' products, community benefits, financing options, and more.
  • Act as the primary liaison for homebuyers, providing support from initial consultation to home closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in division meetings to promote effective communication and a seamless homebuilding process.
  • Ensure M/I Homes' brand image is upheld by monitoring community appearance and home maintenance.
