We are currently looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Central Texas Austin Kind Clinic. In this role, you will assess, plan, and deliver patient care under the guidance of an attending Physician. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, including some evening and weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will excel in communication with patients and colleagues, provide care with professionalism and compassion, and incorporate the latest research into their clinical practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting clinical procedures under the supervision of the attending Physician, adhering to established protocols.
  • Performing a variety of clinical activities, including assessments, history-taking, physical examinations, and developing patient care plans.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and ensuring accurate medical records are maintained.
  • Regularly consulting with supervising and attending physicians regarding patient records and care strategies.
  • Collaborating effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Working independently while being a collaborative team member with all levels of clinical staff.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned.
