THE ROLE
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will not only oversee daily operations but also empower a dedicated team of Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to excel in their roles. Your leadership will inspire growth in skills and confidence, while maintaining high standards of care quality and team morale. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide coaching and mentorship to veterinary technicians and assistants, facilitating their professional development.
- Address team dynamics with clarity and compassion, always prioritizing the well-being of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on performance management, feedback, recognition, and strategic planning.
- Design and optimize hospital workflow to ensure a customer-centric approach, guaranteeing prompt medical attention for pets and allowing families to stay together.
- Proactively manage customer inquiries and work with leadership on sustainable solutions.
- Ensure a supportive environment for both pets and their owners throughout their visit.
- Oversee nursing schedules, PTO requests, and daily staffing needs.
