In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining technical excellence at a key client site, directly influencing their operational success.

This is not just a reactive role; it’s a strategic opportunity that allows you to combine hands-on problem-solving with service enhancement initiatives. You will act as the on-site technical authority, managing complex incidents, conducting health checks, mentoring peers, and implementing automation solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and resolve first and second line support tickets with accountability
  • Address escalated incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Navigate intricate technical challenges involving Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Windows environments, and network infrastructures
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts from EDR/XDR, email security, and vulnerability management platforms
  • Perform proactive health checks assessing backups, security monitoring, patch compliance, and system performance
  • Collaborate with vendors on complex issues while keeping all stakeholders informed
  • Support strategic client projects, including migrations, deployments, and infrastructure enhancements
  • Develop a knowledge repository to strengthen the entire team
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and automation proactively
  • Mentor fellow engineers and share your technical wisdom generously

What You Bring:

Core Technical Skills:

  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Strong experience with Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, focusing on conditional access, MFA, and hybrid identity management
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager for device and application management
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with modern backup solutions such as Veeam or Azure Backup
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, and firewall configurations
