Role Overview
In the capacity of an Operations Excellence Specialist at Bigblue, you will be integral to ensuring our fulfillment operations run with enhanced speed, efficiency, and consistency, laying the foundation for scalable growth.
Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing best practices across our partner warehouses, and contributing to pivotal mid-term projects that allow us to manage increased volume at reduced costs, collaborating closely with our Product & Tech teams to refine our in-house WMS.
This position is hands-on and impactful, reporting to the Head of Operations Excellence and working closely with Operations, Product, Finance, and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Operational Enhancements
- Implement Operations Excellence initiatives across our EU warehouse network, focusing on effective execution and follow-through
- Develop, test, and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
- Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and routines that facilitate scalable and dependable operations
- Collaborate with site teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into actionable improvements
- Aid in the collection and analysis of data to identify opportunities for enhancement
Implement Improvement Projects
- Assist in cross-functional improvement projects (layout optimization, process redesign, digitalization, tooling implementation)
