Qualifications
What You’ll Be Doing:Oversee the safe movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center for repairs, while consistently meeting or surpassing production and quality standards. Achieve or exceed inventory production targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Supervise daily operations of the assigned team; assess team strengths and weaknesses and identify improvement opportunities. Engage with your team by providing coaching, development, and performance management; offer constructive feedback and demonstrate essential skills. Foster a work environment that encourages positive communication, teamwork, and adherence to Carvana’s core values. Communicate proactively with team members to ensure clarity of expectations, performance measures, and goals. Address and resolve conflicts among team members effectively. Monitor compliance with systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards. Evaluate and approve the identification of mechanical and physical defects in incoming inventory. Lead a team of production associates and collaborate with the Inspection Center General Manager to assess and manage inventory based on repair costs and overall vehicle quality.

The Operations Lead acts as a front-line supervisor at the Phoenix Inspection Center. This person manages and develops a team of hourly associates, working hands-on to meet production goals. The Operations Lead plays a key role in keeping daily operations on track and ensuring standards stay high.
