We are a technology-focused company providing aluminum plates, bars, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers, utilizing cutting-edge software and automation to deliver metals faster than traditional methods.
As our Operations Lead, you will be instrumental in transforming our LA facility from a vacant building into a fully operational production floor. This role is pivotal in establishing our presence in the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the complete build-out of the LA facility from inception to operational readiness.
Sourcing and negotiating for equipment, tooling, racking, and material handling to create a fully functional floor.
Recruiting and assembling the LA team, including operators, technicians, drivers, and support staff.
Developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure smooth operations, including shift schedules, safety protocols, quality control, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
Collaborating with our Detroit team to integrate proven processes and enhance operational efficiency in LA.
Working closely with the software team to deploy NOX NEST on the production floor, ensuring it meets the needs of our operators.
Managing throughput, on-time delivery, and customer quality metrics from the LA site.
Leading the day-to-day operations once the facility is fully functional.
