The Order Puller position in Houston, TX supports warehouse operations by picking, verifying, and preparing products for customer shipments. This role helps ensure that orders are accurate and ready for delivery.
Main responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders according to quality standards
- Check products against customer orders for accuracy
- Label boxes and pallets for delivery
- Repack items as needed
- Manually wrap pallets to secure loads
- Restock and organize warehouse inventory
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Report inventory needs or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
- Address issues that could affect order pulling
- Take part in annual inventory counts
- Listen carefully and follow instructions
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain reliable attendance
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Physical requirements
- Lift, stand, and carry for extended periods during warehouse work
- Lift up to 40 pounds at a time
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Clear communication skills for working with team members and supervisors
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order pulling role is a plus
- Basic computer skills are helpful
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
