Key Responsibilities
As an Owner Operator Driver with Altom Transport, you are not just a driver; you are a business owner and a valued partner in our operation. Your responsibilities include:
- Safe Transportation: Transport chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while complying with DOT regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in peak condition for successful long-haul operations.
- Loading & Unloading: Adhere to proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations during loading and delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, submit necessary paperwork, and comply with Hazmat regulations.
- Customer Service: Represent Altom Transport professionally at all customer locations.
- Business Management: Oversee fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to optimize revenue.
- Ensure a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements, contributing to the overall operational success.
- 24/7 Availability – Be prepared to be available around the clock when needed.
