Key Responsibilities:1. Packaging Development & Execution Facilitate the development and optimization of packaging across various formats, including flexible films, cartons, corrugated cases, and direct-to-consumer packaging. Oversee dieline updates, version control, and packaging specifications to ensure precision and alignment across departments. Collaborate with the Creative team to ensure that packaging structures are consistent with artwork, printing requirements, and brand guidelines. Assist in validating packaging performance on production lines and during transit.2. Co-Manufacturer & Supplier CoordinationServe as a key liaison with co-manufacturers regarding packaging execution and troubleshooting. Coordinate with OEM equipment partners to enhance packaging performance on flow wrappers, cartoners, and related machinery. Identify and resolve packaging-related production challenges affecting throughput, yield, or quality. Manage communication with packaging suppliers, focusing on timelines, specifications, and sample development.3. Materials & Structural Engineering SupportAssist in evaluating materials and structures across flexible films, cartons, and corrugated formats. Support testing initiatives, including drop tests, transit testing, and packaging validation. Ensure that packaging is appropriately sized, cost-effective, and compatible with manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate records of packaging specifications, materials, and performance data.4. D2C & Cold Chain PackagingSupport the development and execution of direct-to-consumer packaging for frozen and perishable items. Assist in coordinating cold chain testing, including shipper performance and insulation specifications.

We are looking for a dedicated Packaging Engineer to drive the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of our packaging solutions across our entire product lineup.

As we expand into retail channels, e-commerce, and new categories, effective packaging will play a crucial role in enhancing product performance, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. This role will involve managing daily packaging operations, collaborating closely with co-manufacturers and suppliers, and contributing to the build-out of scalable systems and processes over time.
