Full-time|On-site|Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia OverviewThe Head of Powertrack is pivotal in steering the commercial, operational, and strategic trajectory of Solarvest’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) division. This leadership role focuses on achieving exceptional asset management for solar power facilities while elevating Powertrack into a premier MV/HV O&M and critical infrastructure service provider across the region.We are looking for a dynamic leader who possesses a robust technical foundation, sharp commercial acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit to scale the business, explore new revenue avenues, and enhance Powertrack’s competitive edge. You are expected to embody the operational discipline of a system operator while adopting a business owner’s mindset to cultivate and lead a high-performing organization.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Business ExpansionCraft and execute the strategic roadmap for Powertrack, encompassing market positioning, business model innovation, service diversification, and regional growth.Propel the division into emerging sectors such as MV/HV substation O&M, interconnection asset maintenance, protection systems, emergency response, and lifecycle asset services.Scout, assess, and commercialize new service offerings—ranging from preventive maintenance to corrective actions, retrofitting, spares management, performance recovery, and asset optimization.Utilize Solarvest’s extensive portfolio (LSS, C&I, utility clients) to broaden Powertrack’s service reach and establish a steady revenue stream.2. Operational Excellence & Technical OversightSupervise all facets of O&M operations to guarantee asset reliability, optimize performance ratios, ensure safety compliance, and achieve contractual SLA targets.Lead technical teams encompassing solar energy systems, MV/HV electrical infrastructure, SCADA systems, protection relays, and interconnection facilities.Implement top-tier preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, ensure rapid response to outages, and foster a robust health, safety, and environment (HSE) culture.Establish comprehensive governance frameworks, SOPs, and quality management systems.3. Commercial, Financial & P&L ManagementTake ownership of the division's P&L, ensuring sustainable profitability, productivity enhancements, and cost efficiencies across all O&M operations.Develop pricing models, cost structures, performance metrics, and profitability monitoring tools.Enhance customer retention, contract renewals, and growth of existing accounts.4. Customer, Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementForge and maintain strong relationships with clients, TNB, vendors, OEMs, insurance providers, and service contractors.Serve as the primary escalation point for significant client issues, disputes, and resolutions.
