Full-time|On-site|Bengaluru As a Mechanical and Tightening Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and enhancing mechanical and tightening processes. Your responsibilities will include defining standards, creating guidelines, and providing support to maintenance teams. You will collaborate with the Center of Competence (CoC) and Integrated Product Networks (IPN) to benchmark best practices and implement improvements in our mechanical and tightening processes.Your role will involve obtaining design approvals, coordinating line builds, ensuring pre-acceptance checks, overseeing installations, and facilitating line releases. You will resolve second-level machine downtimes and guide teams through internal and customer defect resolution using Problem Solving Systems (PSS) and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach.Additionally, you will be responsible for process improvements, focusing on utilization, Poka-Yoke methodologies, and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP). You will coordinate process audits, capability assessments, and calibration activities. Your expertise will contribute to PFMEA, Control Plans (CP), and First Pass Yield (FPY) enhancements.You will also spearhead new process development, standardization templates, and knowledge sharing initiatives both internally and externally. Your efforts will drive benchmarking, localization, tool life improvements, cycle time reductions, and horizontal deployments. Moreover, you will provide support for New Product Introductions (NPI), Engineering Work Authorizations (EWAK), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and Product Validation (PV).As part of your responsibilities, you will lead the team through Homogeneous Working Group meetings, conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analyses for new products, and establish processes for new product initiatives. You will design innovative standards for problem-solving and process improvements, ensuring our operations are at the forefront of the automotive electronics industry.
