As a Flagger, your primary responsibility will be to direct traffic around construction areas, ensuring the safety of both workers and the public.Key Responsibilities:Traffic Control: Manage and direct the flow of traffic around construction sites, employing appropriate signs and signals to ensure safety.Site Assistance: Offer general labor support which includes cleaning and preparing job sites, moving materials, and operating light machinery.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to create a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and drivers for seamless operations.Equipment Handling: Assist with loading and unloading equipment and help set up tools and materials for various tasks.Qualifications:Experience: Previous experience in traffic control or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.Certification: Traffic Control Flagging certification is advantageous (training will be provided if needed).Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.Dependability: A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are critical for success in this role.Communication Skills: Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and the public.Requirements:Must be physically fit and capable of performing labor-intensive tasks.Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Must possess a valid driver's license.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.Capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (hard hat, vest, etc.).Benefits:We offer industry-standard benefits, ensuring our team is well-supported.
