This hands-on role is crucial for managing our comprehensive endpoint security controls and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our central cybersecurity solutions align with Nielsen's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, configure, and sustain internal cybersecurity controls associated with AI technologies and processes.
- Offer cybersecurity expertise on the strategy and execution of AI initiatives, prioritizing the protection of sensitive data across various systems, including structured databases and unstructured data lakes.
- Create scripts and automation for intricate security workflows and integrations using languages such as Python and tools like Ansible to boost operational efficiency.
- Enhance the effectiveness of AI, network, and system security tools by fine-tuning policies to minimize false positives and improve threat detection capabilities.
- Assist in automation initiatives that enable the secure deployment and configuration of cybersecurity technologies both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Prepare architecture diagrams and documentation for Nielsen’s security controls and processes, focusing on all-encompassing solutions that cover on-premise, cloud, and AI/ML environments.
- Implement and oversee network and system security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls (WAF), and Network Access Control (NAC) to safeguard enterprise infrastructure.
- Ensure the security of the AI/ML lifecycle by protecting model training data, establishing controls against adversarial attacks, and maintaining the integrity of generative AI applications.
- Resolve escalated, significant cybersecurity challenges across system and network layers.
- Stay informed about cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures, particularly regarding emerging threats to AI and machine learning models.
