You will report directly to the Head of Accounting.Responsibilities:LATAM Operations: Manage and oversee all accounting functions for the group’s entities, ensuring compliance and oversight in the Latin American markets.Closing & Reporting: Review and finalize monthly and annual accounts, participating in the estimation of provisions (deferred revenue, depreciation) while adhering to both local standards and group reporting requirements.

Become an Inspiring Elementary Math Instructor at AoPS Academy!If you have a passion for mathematics and a desire to ignite curiosity in young learners, we invite you to join our team!Your Role as a Part-Time Instructor:Deliver Engaging Curriculum: Utilize our specially designed curriculum created for advanced students to lead dynamic math classes.Foster Student Engagement: Actively involve students in hands-on learning experiences during each class.Manage the Classroom Effectively: Oversee a classroom of up to 16 students, ensuring a productive learning environment.Assess and Provide Feedback: Evaluate student performance through tests and assignments, offering constructive feedback.Build Meaningful Relationships: Establish connections with students and their families to positively influence their educational journey.Encourage a Love for Learning: Instill a passion for learning and critical thinking in mathematics among students.Qualifications of Our Ideal Candidate:A Bachelor’s degree is required.A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational discipline is preferred.Strong knowledge of math content is essential.Experience in classroom teaching at the K-12 level is advantageous.Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus.Additional Information:No formal teaching credential is required for this position.Teaching Schedule (Academic Year):Classes are held during after-school hours on weekdays (starting at 4 PM) and on weekends.A minimum commitment of approximately 3 hours per week per class is expected.Each class session lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes, meeting once a week.Teaching Schedule (Summer):We offer several two-week camps from June to August.Summer classes run Monday through Friday for 3 hours each day with morning and afternoon options.Location:This is an in-person position at our Portland campus. Candidates must reside in Portland, OR, or surrounding areas and be able to commute to our campus.
