Our Space Systems division designs and constructs a diverse range of satellites, payloads, and components, including those selected for critical NASA missions to the Moon and Mars as well as elements used in the James Webb Space Telescope. Our engineering team members engage in design, analysis, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, assembly and integration, quality control, engineering documentation, and more.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:As a Senior GNC Engineer for Electron, you will take on a pivotal role in the design, implementation, testing, and application of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems used in the operation and production of the Electron rocket. This encompasses mission design, algorithm development, trajectory optimization, auto-sequence planning, Monte Carlo analysis, configuration management, launch operations, data analysis, and physical systems modeling, among other responsibilities. The GNC team prides itself on achieving 100% mission success, consistently delivering on time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide technical leadership in all aspects of GNC development and maintenance for Electron and HASTE.
